Introducing Bruce Tulio

The man. The myth. The…legend?

Okay, maybe not quite. Not yet, anyway. But since Bruce Tulio is the kind of guy who makes you sit up and take notice, it’s just a matter of time.

Who is Bruce Tulio?

What is it about Bruce Tulio that sets him apart from the crowd? After all, there are approximately 6,852,472,823 (give or take) walking around on Earth, right now. It’s pretty easy for someone to blend in. As a matter of fact, people get lost every day. What makes him more than just another of the unnamed masses?

Passion. The passion he brings to the forefront in everything he does. The passion that drives him out of the box and into a various circles of interests that would have most people saying “No thanks” then heading out for a nice, quiet evening at home. For example, did you know that:

  • Bruce Tulio is an avid diver and former spokesperson for the PADI Diving Society? (If you’re into scuba diving and haven’t checked these guys out yet, you need to. They’re an incredible community of divers from all over the world. The organization also strongly supports Project AWARE, which is doing amazing things to keep our ocean habitat alive.)
  • He’s a frequent sailor? We’re not just talking a leisurely stroll. We’re talking skimming across the surface of the water in a toe-curling, hair-raising race to the finish through some of the ocean’s brightest briny blue.
  • He holds a knighthood in not one, but two countries? Sir Bruce Anthony Tulio is an Honorary Knight of Gruyere Castle in Switzerland. He is a full Knight of the Aquataine Province in France, as bestowed by Grand Duke Thomas II.
  • When Northeast Catholic High School in Philadelphia closed its doors, Bruce Tulio stepped in. As co-chairman for the alumni fundraising effort he gives it his all in efforts to reopen the school. The school is a part of his history and important to the community.
  • The Powder Puff Derby Races Association is proud to call him both a retired member and a former judge? If you’re not familiar with this transcontinental air race designed especially for female pilots (more formally known as the Jacqueline Cochran All-Woman Transcontinental Air Race), you should be. Take some time and check it out.
  • On top of sailing and scuba diving, he’s also an avid surfer? Yes, it’s voluntary. No, he doesn’t get tired of being out on the water. And yes, the waves out on the Atlantic really do give the Pacific a run for its money, although when it comes to surfing there’s no place like home.

Pastimes. Hobbies. Passions. Take your pick what name you want to give them. When you get right down to it, Bruce Tulio is a man out there taking a healthy bite out of life.
